Electrical monitoring of circuits and equipment in medical facilities

Configure monitoring for medical locations according to clinical activities, equipment classes and circuit functions. Consider IEC 60601-1 requirements separately from the design of the medical-location power system; leakage-current limits depend on the equipment, measurement conditions and applicable standards.

When using medical IT systems, the insulation status of the corresponding power supply system is continuously observed via insulation monitoring. The system form and monitoring method should be determined according to the loop purpose and project design.

Medical equipment involves different uses such as imaging diagnosis, dialysis, and life support. The power supply methods and monitoring configurations of various loads need to be determined separately.

Data center computer room

Configure server-rack leakage-current monitoring according to the equipment, supply circuits and installation conditions. Set alarm thresholds to match the equipment and system design.

Insulation monitoring can be configured for 200–400 V DC power systems. Set alarm thresholds to suit the system architecture, operating voltage and project design.

The RCM53x and AGI715 provide residual current and insulation status information respectively to help data center operators identify anomalies.

Medical isolated power supply intelligent distribution system

Combine medical isolation power components with system power distribution to plan power supply and monitoring configurations for operating rooms, ICU, NICU, PICU and other places, and coordinate installation, operation and maintenance needs.

Electric vehicle BMS, AC and DC charging piles

The electric vehicle battery management system can be combined with insulation monitoring to observe the insulation changes of the high-voltage system and output abnormal information, providing a basis for system control and troubleshooting. The monitoring device alone cannot replace the protective measures of the entire vehicle.

isoEV301 monitors the vehicle’s battery and electrical system in real time

For DC charging stations, select the appropriate RCM53x model and accessories according to the charging equipment’s monitoring and protection requirements.
